This classroom teaching position is full-time and fixed-term, commencing on Tuesday January 27th, 2026 and concluding on Tuesday 26th January, 2027.
This fixed-term position is for 2026.The successful applicants will have;a strong commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of Catholic schoolsthe appropriate qualifications, skills and abilities necessary to provide students with rich and rewarding educational experiences, catering for individual needs in an inclusive, open learning environmentexperience or interest in evidence-informed learning and teaching with the ability to deliver the learning content with passionthe ability to work and plan collaboratively as part of a team, sharing the responsibility for improving student outcomesefficient and effective classroom behaviour management strategiesstrong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive partnerships with staff, students and their familiesa commitment to adopting the school's vision for evidence-informed practices, inclusive of the Science of Reading, designing a knowledge-based curriculum and an Explicit Instruction pedagogical approach, and a willingness to undertake ongoing professional development in these areas.St Mary's School promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.
