Principal DevOps Engineer
We're seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer with deep Kubernetes expertise to help drive platform reliability, scalability, and automation. This senior, hands-on role will work within a cross-functional product team and influence DevOps best practices across the engineering organization.
Base pay range
A$190,000.00/yr - A$210,000.00/yr
Location : Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
What You'll Be Doing
Act as the Kubernetes subject matter expert across the engineering organization.
Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
Lead the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native tooling.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to improve deployment automation and platform reliability.
Mentor and guide other DevOps and platform engineers.
What We're Looking For
Expert-level Kubernetes experience with production workloads (EKS a plus).
Strong AWS experience managing cloud-native, high-availability environments.
Advanced skills in Terraform and infrastructure as code.
Proven experience in DevOps or platform engineering roles within modern SaaS environments.
Excellent communication and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Bonus: experience with GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD), observability tooling, or service meshes.
