The Opportunity

As an Employer Partnerships Manager, you will be accountable for providing a strong and influential presence in an assigned portfolio of employers aimed at building and maintaining employer relationships and enhancing the UniSuper brand.

We expect each employee to live our values and behavioural expectations each day. In addition to this you will:

- Develop a strong and influential presence to strengthen relationships and to enhance the UniSuper brand in their assigned portfolio of employers, including delivering presentations, workplace visits, seminars and webinars.
- Elicit current and future employer or member needs and plan the provision of the best array of value-adding services, within the UniSuper employer and member product and service portfolio range.
- Establish specific annual Customer Service Plans that respond to current and future employer needs
- Establish and maintain a Relationship Management Plan that engages key employers and appropriate UniSuper staff in a strategic and systematic manner
- Co-ordinate and direct where required, UniSuper's access and transactions for specialist member and employer service delivery activity e.g. enhanced members and advice opportunities
- Develop insights and recommend possible strategies for competitive intelligence gathering marketing research and campaigns and member retention strategies for consideration and implementation by specialist UniSuper services
- Oversee the effective response to all data cleansing and elevated member issues on behalf of UniSuper
- Participate in the data gathering and analysis of patterns and trends and the implementation of improvement projects as required
- Oversee the delivery of UniSuper initiatives/projects at a local level, and increase brand awareness in the region
- Capture a major share of the pre and post retirement member F.U.M. through targeted member loyalty and retention strategies and advocacy activity initiated at a corporate UniSuper and local regional level
- Monitor delivery standards and reports on agreed key performance indicators
- Present at member and employer seminars on topics with low technical content regarding UniSuper and superannuation generally Deliver agreed KRA's.

About you
- Experience in a commercial environment with responsibility for building and maintaining critical relationships, preferably, but not exclusively within the superannuation/finance industry.
- Experience of both defined benefit and accumulation Superannuation funds is desirable
- A deep understanding of the concepts of building customer base loyalty and driving business
development/sales growth
- Relevant tertiary qualification and or industry experience and RG 146 compliant
- Proven experience in assessing and evaluating organisation service delivery performance and introducing required organisation change
- Strong interpersonal skills, particularly listening, empathy and the ability to communicate persuasively
- Ability to drive activity and results
- Excellent commercial understanding High personal integrity and ability to develop trust
