Full Time Permanent, 2 x vacancies Afternoon or Night ShiftWork for a well-known, Australian owned companyAttractive salary package plus shift loading and overtime when requiredThe RoleOur Smithfield site in Western Sydney, manufactures a range of more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink and water ice products.
The site currently manufactures approximately 110 million litres of finished goods every year including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura and Zooper Dooper.
The Maintenance Electrician will provide electrical support for site operational breakdown, maintenance, and improvement requirements.
Seek innovative solutions and perform tests on equipment by the standards and procedures of quality, safety, and environment to ensure the elimination of defects.The candidate is required to work on permanent full-time basic, 38 hours per week.
The role will offer salary package with shift loading at 15% for afternoon shift & 30% for night shift with occasional overtime.
The shift details are below:Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 2PM to 10PMNight Shift: Sunday to Thursday 10PM to 6AMResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance inspectionsImprove workforce productivity by eliminating potential delays by technical support and fault finding of electrical issues.Coach peers and operation team members in equipment use and maintenanceEnsure all work meets engineering and food safety standardsSupport site initiatives such as Continuous Improvement & Safety-First CultureAbout youFull licensed electrician with similar experience in a manufacturing environmentAdvanced structured problem-solving skills including root cause analysisPLC fault finding – Allen Bradley, Siemens, SCADAStrong analytical & problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and P&ID'sBega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
