**Position: Die Setter/ Machine Operator**

**DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Performing machine start-up and shut downs
- Prepare, install, set and run injection moulding and blow moulding
- Competent in mould changes and understand die insert changes
- Optimising machine parameters for production runs
- Adjust machine controls to required settings for production
- Troubleshoot on injection moulding machines, material and dies
- Ensure maintenance is done on moulds, machines and general housekeeping
- Fast response time to breakdowns
- Ensure product is of acceptable quality and in accordance with specifications
- Recommend continuous improvements relating to scheduling, cycle time, scrap reduction and OH&S
- Comply with all OH&S regulations and Workplace policies

**CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS**:
A minimum of two years' die-setting experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
- Hands-on proven capability and knowledge of injection moulding
- Excellent understanding of polymer materials
- Experience with engineering polymers
- Troubleshooting, fault finding and problem solving skills
- Strong eye for detail
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Ability to work unsupervised or under limited supervision
- Be physically fit to cope with manual handling
- Forklift license is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
