Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Frontend Architect to design and implement modern, scalable front-end solutions with a strong focus on UI/UX and usability.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement front-end solutions that meet high standards for UI/UX and accessibility
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and bring data visualisations and insights to life
Optimise performance and implement best practices in accessibility, maintainability, and code quality
Contribute to product design discussions and participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions
Define and enforce front-end coding standards, architecture, and testing frameworks
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in front-end software development, a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles, and the ability to write clean, well-structured, maintainable code.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Background or interest in data visualisation, genomics, or scientific applications
Understanding of API design and system architecture
