Warehouse Supervisor

Job PurposeAn exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team
This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse.
This position is responsible for supervising daily activities, optimizing workflows, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
The role provides leadership to warehouse staff and supports the Warehouse Manager, stepping in to oversee operations in their absence.Key AccountabilitiesOversee daily contract logistics operations, ensuring smooth workflow and productivityImplement and monitor standard operating procedures to optimize efficiencyOversee inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely order fulfillment, and proper storage conditions.
Monitor inventory movements and reconcile discrepanciesMaintain accurate records and generate reports on inventory status, warehouse operations, and performance metrics.
Report any issues to Warehouse ManagerProactively identify and address operational bottlenecksProvide leadership, direction and coaching for all employees in the warehouseMaintain employee productivity to meet customer service level agreementsEnsure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across all operationsConduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance and mitigate risksLead by example in the execution of safe work practices and ensure the continual identification and management of hazards to reduce accidents and injuryBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any operational issuesQualifications, Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will possess the following:Minimum of 5 years in contract logistics, 3PL or supply chain management, with experience supervising large teamsProven experience in customer relationship management and contract administration and execution.Familiarity with the logistics sector in Oceania, including local regulations and market dynamics.Large volume operational experience2+ years of supervisor experienceSupporting equalityDP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
