Cyber Security Expert

Key Responsibilities:
Leverage your expertise in cyber security to drive impactful change from the frontline by implementing robust measures.
With experience in Cyber Security focused roles, system hardening, and compliance with Australian Signal Directorates (ASD) Essential 8, you will play a key part in safeguarding our operations.
Familiarity with industry standards, frameworks, and applicable laws such as ISO:27001, NISTSP800-53, GDPR, and Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act is essential.
You will investigate and remediate complex cyber security incidents, including forensic data gathering, ensuring our systems remain secure.
Experience with Identity and Access Management platforms and securing Amazon Web Services workloads is highly desirable.
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and triage complex issues involving multiple stakeholders.
Cybersecurity knowledge, including encryption, access control, intrusion detection/prevention systems, penetration testing, threat intelligence, and incident response procedures.
Understanding of virtualisation technologies and containerisation platforms.
Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and service delivery processes.
Adaptability, problem-solving, time management, attention to detail, customer focus, resilience, continuous learning, and collaborative skills are crucial for success.
