Head Of Finance Porfolios And Claims

**The Opportunity**:
The Head of Finance Portfolios and Claims (Health Insurance) is a key role supporting the portfolio leadership teams in the development and execution of our strategy and providing financial intelligence and key commercial insights to drive the achievement of targets and strategic imperatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring outstanding commercial acumen and financial analytical capabilities. You will be an impactful leader with a strong ability to engage and influence key stakeholders, shape strategic imperatives, deliver results and build a highly talented and engaged team.

**How will I help?**
- As a trusted business advisor, work closely with and influence the portfolio and claims teams to ensure optimal resource allocation and delivery of targets
- Provide actionable insights and actively engage with the teams to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks
- Provide strategic financial advice to the business on all customer acquisition, retention and product strategy development across the domestic, international and corporate portfolios
- Support the portfolio directors in developing the sales strategy to drive profitable growth whilst ensuring the competitiveness of products and offerings to market
- Support the strategic review of all products/channels (incl. pricing reviews) and lead the analysis and insights around portfolio performance and competitor benchmarking to improve the quality and effectiveness of decision making
- Provide commercial modelling and sound business cases across portfolios and claims
- Prepare bottom-up forecast, budget and three-year planning across Domestic and International & Corporate portfolios

**What do I need?**
- Degree Qualified Professional Qualification - CA, CPA, CFA Desirable - Post graduate qualified MBA
- Significant leadership experience, ability to provide clear direction to the team, set high standards, motivate, and empower the team to deliver
- Proven ability to understand key financial and business drivers and provide meaningful insight to help resolve complex business and commercial issues in a dynamic environment
- Strong financial and analytical capability combined with outstanding commercial acumen
