Job Title:
Regional Head Nurse
Job Description:
This is a part-time role that reports to the Clinical Director and assists with strategic planning for clinical training, education, performance, and recruitment across nursing teams in Sydney. The role provides coaching and mentoring to enhance standards, patient care, capability, and client satisfaction.
Deliver clinical training to clinics and nurses
Address clinical standards of care and improve nurse capability and client interactions
Offer regional mentorship to nurses requiring assistance with clinical standards
Influence clinical outcomes aligned with strategic initiatives
Collaborate with leaders to construct a training action plan
Present training at Team Leader Meetings and Nurse training seminars
Oversee student placements and internships
Assist with interviewing and induction of Head Nurses
Develop a pipeline through industry collaboration
Qualifications:
Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing or above
High level knowledge of veterinary nursing principles and practices
Strong surgical background and continuing education focus
Ability to provide training and education to clinic teams
Knowledge of educational content and methods
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
