**The Role**
Reporting to the Business Support Manager and working alongside our bookkeeper and external accountants, the Accounts Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping for our national business including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end tasks and payroll processes. This role will also be involved in maintaining adequate filing systems and providing superior customer services to both internal and external stakeholders. Working across our national business, you will be responsible for:
- Administering Accounts Payable - reviewing and approving invoices, staff reimbursements/entitlements for payment, communicating with suppliers as required; processing manual payments and bank transfers, and setting up supplier accounts where required.
- Administering Accounts Receivable - assist in the generation of invoices and quotes, assisting in debtor management and monthly reports as required; including reconciliation of invoices.
- Entering invoices against projects into Synergy.
- Managing fortnightly payroll for 90 staff members on Xero.
- Administering quarterly bonus payments.
- Overseeing bank reconciliations.
- Managing quarterly and monthly tax payments.
- Managing Workcover premium payments.
- Coordinating all cash flow forecasting activities; including the ongoing consultation with management/project teams to help the team in making cash flow determinations.
- Assisting the company accountant and bookkeeper in critical end of month/end of quarter tasks.
**About you**:
- Previous experience in a similar role, professional services experience an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Proficient across Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficient with Xero or other similar accounting program.
- Experience with Synergy project management system an advantage, but not essential.
- Relevant bookkeeping or finance qualification.
