Due to continuous growth, Mott MacDonald's is looking for SharePoint Project Site Coordinator to joining a diverse team of consultants who are passionate about what they do, with a proven track record guiding our clients, and leading delivery on one of Sydney's iconic infrastructure projects, the Engineering Design Assurance (EDA).
Reporting to the Digital Advisory Lead, the role is Sydney based working with key stakeholders. It offers the opportunity for you to demonstrate fresh ideas, to take the next step in your career and to take ownership of this role.
The opportunity:

- Administrative owner of SharePoint, MS Teams and any related apps or add-ins on projects
- Consult with project leadership on new site set-ups and configurations aligning with project
- information and data architecture
- Tailor/customise project sites to accommodate project scope and enhance user experience and functionality
- Work in conjunction with MM (and client or partner) corporate IT on activities pertaining to the maintenance of SharePoint and MS Teams
- Manage and maintain project security applied to the sites aligning with required project protocols
- Monitor SharePoint and MS Teams daily including user activity and feedback, and troubleshoot any technical or functional issues
- Manage change requests and maintain the sites' usability; site closure and archiving requirement
- Undertake or assist with regular user surveys, analysing feedback and taking appropriate action
- Report on updates and information about site usage and provide technical and functional support for users
- Manage and deliver training from the project teams regarding functional use of SharePoint, MS Teams and any related apps or add-ins
- Keep apprised of corporate/vendor updates/changes and take appropriate action on behalf of the projects
- What can you bring to the team?
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
- Minimum 4 years previous experience working with SharePoint is required; Microsoft certification preferred
- Knowledge of the function and makeup of SharePoint, MS Teams and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the knowledge of best practices for maintaining information security
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive company information responsibly
- Exhibits knowledge of software development industry and familiar with website layouts and html
- Leadership skills with clearly and effectively communications
- Able to translate technical jargon into layman's terms for explanatory purposes
- Demonstrates ability to work and conduct research independently
- Manages time efficiently and multi-tasks effectively to remedy system shutdowns or serious software problems
