**About the Job**

Kumon Education Merrylands is looking for a Class Assistant.

Class Assistants required for busy after school coaching centre located in Merrylands.

Monday's 3:15pm - 6:15pm
Thursday's 3:15 pm - 6:15 pm
Saturday's 11:45am - 1:45pm

(award wages only)

Shifts available from 2 or 3 hours

Work in Your Local Community.

Kumon Education Centres offer students of all ages individualized study programs in mathematics and English. Currently, the Kumon Merrylands Education Centre is seeking casual staff members to assist in the operations of its education centre.

If you have strong maths & English skills, can organize others and motivate individual students to work to their ability, then this is the role for you

Suit High School students.

**Main duties include**:

- Motivate and encourage students to learn.
- Provide hints and assist students with maths and English classwork.
- Mark and record student's classwork and homework.
- Possibility of working with pre-school students.

**You must be**:

- A people person.
- Proficient in higher-level maths and English.
- Organized and able to multi-task.
- A fast learner and responsible.
- Able to work on one of the above days/times above listed.

Successful applicants may need to have or obtain a PAID/EMPLOYEE Working With Children Check (WWCC).
