Are you a seasoned employment lawyer ready to take on a key in-house role with a world-class technology leader?
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our Asia Pacific team, providing critical legal advice on all facets of employment law.In this role, you will be the trusted advisor to our Human Relations and Employee Relations teams.
Your expertise will be vital in navigating legal compliance, managing complex employee relations issues, and supporting strategic reorganisations across the APAC region.You will work closely with a global team of legal professionals and external counsel, playing a pivotal part in workplace investigations, pre-litigation, and litigation matters.
We need someone who can deliver practical, commercially-minded advice and build strong relationships in a dynamic, fast-paced Tech/Saas environment.What you\'ll be doingProviding expert legal advice on employment law issues, including employee relations, terminations, performance management, and workforce changes.Collaborating with global legal teams and outside counsel on investigations, disputes, and litigation.Ensuring legal compliance with a focus on key jurisdictions such as Australia, Korea, Japan, and/or Singapore.Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.Delivering clear, concise, and practical legal guidance that empowers the business.What you\'ll bring to the table / Required skillsA minimum of 5+ years of post-admission experience in Employment Law.A blend of law firm and in-house experience is preferred (experience in the Tech/Saas industry would be a strong advantage)A valid practising certificate and good standing with a relevant law society.A proven ability to operate autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in an ambiguous environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building trust with business partners.
