Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the fundamental objective of the role is to ensure stable and reliable plant operation and achieving business and customer requirements. You will do this by working closely with the area planners to establish and successfully execute the weekly maintenance schedule and work priorities in the most cost effective and safe manner.

**Your success in the role is determined by your proven ability to**:

- Actively lead, engage and supervise your team to achieve objectives and deliver a quality service to your customers
- Develop a team culture where work quality and preventing breakdowns is paramount
- Clearly define and explain the context of the work require
- Set clear performance and behavioural expectations and address poor performance quickly
- Mentor, coach and develop your team by implementing individual performance plans, reward and recognition
- Ensure adherence to Environmental and WHS procedures, processes and expectations.

**Selection Criteria**
- Extensive experience in supervising and leading a maintenance team to achieve goals with the ability to effectively coach and manage performance,
- Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Health and Safety principles & systems
- Solid presentation, communication and negotiation skills with ability to liaise at all levels of organisation
- Trouble shooting success in maintenance or production departments
- Customer-focused with commitment to Quality & Continuous Improvement principles
- Superior planning and organisation skills to establish work priorities to maximise results
- Experience using computerised maintenance systems (such as SAP), and MS Office Suite
- Trade or Engineering qualifications or equivalent experience
- High Voltage experience (desirable)
- Certificate IV - Frontline Leadership (desirable)
