**Lead the development and execution of a large scale strategic communication program**:
- **12 month role with Hybrid Working Model - minimum 3 days Sydney based office**:
- **Seeking passionate Communication Lead to support Westpac Group's strategic priorities**
**How will I help?**
As a highly experienced Communication Lead, you will support the achievement of Westpac Group's strategic priorities whilst protecting and promoting our reputation. You will manage the end to end communication activities on a key strategic communication program to an exceptional standard using a range of channels to engage all employees.
Specifically, your role will:
- Develop the communication strategy and campaign to support large scale strategic communication program
- End to end communication program management, including managing agency relationships
- Draft/coordinate/distribute all communication materials with input from SMEs and other stakeholders, including key messages, Group Executive communication and FAQs, ensuring all relevant approvals are captured
- Manage Group-wide communication support and coordinate divisional communications
- Develop and manage communication channels (Viva Engage portal, as well as inbox, intranet and website related to this campaign)
- Work with media and government team to develop and execute external strategy
- Help ensure internal risks are identified and mitigated helping to minimise any reputational risk

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Significant (10years plus) experience in corporate communications
- Experience communicating in a highly regulated environment, to a large and diverse workforce
- Strength in written and verbal communication and senior stakeholder management
- Experience in communicating industrial relations changes/ exposure to employee relations
- Tertiary qualified in Communications, Journalism, or a relevant discipline preferred.
- Demonstrated behaviours in accordance with Westpac corporate values: Helpful, Ethical, Leading Change, Performing, Simple
- encouraging accountability, continuous improvement and a strong risk culture.
