**Role Description/Criteria**

OLSH College Bentleigh is an independent Catholic secondary school for girls with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. Administered by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the College is built on a tradition of 86 years of inspiring excellence at the Heart of girls' education.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers in the following full time ongoing positions:
**Assistant Head of Department - Humanities POL 1 and Assistant Head of Department - English POL 1**

**Both positions Commencing Term 1, 2025**

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

The Assistant Head of Department roles are a Position of Leadership (POL 1) and a member of the College Curriculum Team.

The successful applicant will hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration or qualify for this registration and must have the right to work in Australia.
