**SBS Finance**

We exist to ensure that SBS utilises its financial resources as effectively as possible. To achieve this, we strive to provide timely, relevant and clear financial advice and analysis to all cost centres within SBS and support the organisation through strategic challenges and opportunities.

**The Role**

The purpose of this role is to drive and implement broad organisational efficiencies and Finance function improvements through workflow changes/process improvements and ensure there is a business focus on continuous improvement. Modelling and realisation of business case benefits and savings, and the optimisation of Finance data is also an essential part of the role. In addition to leading strategic and operational projects as required such as the preparedness for sustainability financial reporting and disclosures.

Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer this role will see you:

- Model and drive internal productivity and transformation initiatives
- Embed continuous improvement to Finance's function and processes
- Lead the planning and development of SBS's ESG obligations and opportunities
- Lead the data collection, documentation, disclosure and reporting of sustainability actions

**About you**
- Demonstrated success in embedding organisation wide continuous improvement
- Highly skilled in driving business efficiencies and transformation initiatives with a proven track record
- Strong business or accounting background and qualification
- Financial modelling and analytical skills / financial acumen
- Strong history of working with businesses to evaluate and implement process changes and efficiency initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management
- Highly developed project management skills
