**About the role**

As a Farm Hand you will be responsible for the following:

- Undertake agricultural agronomic activities including mustering livestock, working livestock in yards, checking water levels and cleaning troughs, Identifying and spraying weeds (Rats tail, Indigofera and Parthenium), fencing and maintenance of fencing and tractor driving.
- Provide operational support for research projects through the accurate operation of plant and equipment.
- Work independently and with other staff, following instructions from Farm Supervisor and/or Facility Manager to successfully complete tasks to support research projects and facility / grounds maintenance.
- Work in a safe environment following Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and the Departments Code of Conduct.
- Demonstrate initiative and responsibility by completing allocated tasks and activities to a high standard.
- Establish, enhance, and maintain relationships to foster good working relationships with colleagues and clients.

**About You**:

- Farmhand experience with weed control
- Farmhand experience with mustering, weaning and cattle handling
- Current driving licence (C Class)
- LR licence and ACDC an advantage but not mandatory
- Must be experienced in tractor operations.
