Technician - Food Safety

We do this with our revolutionary cleaning and hygiene technologies - such as floor care machines, cleaning tools & utensils, and chemicals for Food & Beverage industry.About the role:This role focuses on conducting Food Safety audits, inspections, and electronic reporting to uphold the highest standards of food safety.
The technician will work within but to not limited supermarket environments, ensuring compliance while servicing wall-mounted dispensers and supporting equipment installations.Travel is a significant part of this role, so flexibility and reliability are essential.Key responsibilities:Conduct quarterly cleaning audits and departmental inspections in supermarket settingsComplete accurate and timely electronic service and audit reportsDocument service activities, inspection findings, and corrective actionsCommunicate food safety improvements and resolve client issues effectivelyInstall and maintain hygiene and dosing equipment per specifications and standardsPerform preventative maintenance and repair non-functioning equipmentSupport new store rollouts, ensuring proper training and installation sign-offMaintain safety data sheets (SDS) and ensure compliance with safety protocolsDeliver formal and on-the-job training as per contractual obligationsRespond to customer requests and complaints promptlyMaintain tool kits and field test kits, replacing expired or contaminated itemsAchieve 100% compliance in monthly CMX platform reportingTravel regionally as required for installations and repairsAbout you:Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skillsFlexible and willing to travel with valid driver's license (primarily within South Australia)Experience in equipment service, repair, and installation (chemical hygiene/food industry preferred)Basic technical skills and safe use of tools (e.g., drills)Background in food safety, sanitation, or pest control (preferred)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer literacy in Microsoft OfficeRequired: Police Check, Industry White Card, Working with Children CheckIf you're passionate about food safety, thrive in a hands-on role, and enjoy working independently while making a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
