This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides soft services such as Village Management, Catering, Transport, Cleaning and Utility services to a well-known Mining Company situated in the Mid-West, WA.
Key Responsibilities This position is responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep of remote offices/workspaces/facilities across the mine.
Ensuring areas are kept clean, orderly, and properly always maintained to a strict standard.
Ad-hoc support to the Village Team is occasionally required.
Duties include: Ensure that the designated work, service and living areas are held to a high standard of cleanliness Follow Cleaning Policies and Procedures Achieve completion targets within allocated timeframes, respond to timely ad-hoc cleaning requests Housekeeping of Residents rooms within the Village environment as per schedule; stripping and making beds, removing, and replacing linen/towels, cleaning ensuites and all ablutions Minesite Cleaning of Site offices and facilities, crib rooms and all ablutions Appropriate storage and use of Chemicals Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials/consumables levels, assist with EOM stock take audits Laundry duties such as removal and replacement of linen/towels, sorting, folding and storage Notifying the Supervisor of any maintenance requests/issues required within the Village/Site Assist other departments from time to time, if required About You To join our team, you will have previous cleaning experience and be highly organized, possessing strong time and priority management skills.
You will have a strong commitment to the hygiene and safety of yourself and others, and a passion to provide quality work and service with a smile, at all times: You will possess: VALID C Class License Australian Working Rights Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening Current National Police Check (within 6 months) Previous experience at a Village / Minesite Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions Ability to multi-task and assist across areas with a positive teamwork approach The following experience / qualifications with First Aid and Food Safety (desirable) Additionally, you will also possess the following skills: Basic Systems and Technology experience i.e., iClean, MS Office, online/web-based Payroll & Training requirements Ability to work autonomously, be a self-motivator and respond to requests in a timely manner Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others About Us Programmed Facility Management is a leading provider of asset management, facilities maintenance and project management services across a multitude of industries.
