IronMerge People are currently recruiting experienced FIFO All Round Utility Staff for casual pool roles across multiple WA mine sites. These utility roles cover a variety of areas, including:

  • Kitchen & Dining Attendant
  • Minesite Cleaner
  • Tavern & Retail
  • Housekeeping
  • Site Administration
  • Grounds & Handyperson

Roles are casual FIFO from Perth Airport, with 2:1 swings or adhoc leave cover available. Successful applicants can commence ASAP following mobilisation.

Key Responsibilities

As a FIFO All Round Utility, you may be required to work across multiple departments including:

  • Kitchen & Dining – food handling, pot wash, cleaning, service
  • Housekeeping & Minesite Cleaning – accommodation, site facilities, public areas
  • Tavern & Retail – customer service, stock handling, POS operation
  • Grounds & Handyperson – general site upkeep, maintenance support
  • Site Administration – basic admin duties, reception, rostering support

Essential Criteria to Apply

  • Minimum 6 months recent FIFO or DIDO experience in Australia within the last 12 months
  • Flexible to work across all rosters (including day/night shift) and departments
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug screen (plus ongoing 28-day drug testing if required)
  • Perth-based applicants only (interstate/overseas not considered)
  • Full Australian working rights with at least 6 months' validity
  • Current National Police Check (within 6 months or willing to obtain)
  • RSA certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • WA Approved Manager (desirable, not essential)
  • Forklift ticket (desirable, not essential)
