About the Role:
Opulence College is seeking a highly organized and experienced Academic Course Coordinator to join our team in a part-time capacity. This key role involves overseeing course administration, scheduling, student support, and maintaining high standards in training delivery across our Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). As a Course Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students, trainers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless course operations and a high-quality learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
**-Coordinate the planning and delivery of all training courses, including scheduling trainers and liaising with partners**
- Provide support and guidance to students and stakeholders from enrolment through to course completion.
**-Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external enquiries.**
- Manage and maintain training records, including the creation of training plans and schedules.
**-Update and manage course timetables and communicating changes effectively.** Manage room bookings and allocate resources for training delivery.
**-Upload and maintain training and assessment materials.**
- Track and monitor student attendance and progress in line with RTO policies.
**-Conduct end-of-course administrative checks and gather student feedback.**
- Coordinate assessment documentation, file audits, and certification issuance.
**-Ensure compliance with funding agreements through accurate student data management.**
- Manage student data in compliance with funding agreement requirements.
**-Administer and update student management systems (Axcelerate).**
- Schedule and manage regular trainer meetings, including agenda preparation and minute taking.
**-Organise validation activities and collate necessary documentation for audits.**
- Collaborate with administrative and campus teams.
**-Prepare and submit regular reports to the management team.**
- Undertake any other relevant duties assigned by the management.
Selection Criteria:
**Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)**
*Proven experience in RTO operations and training coordination
**Proficiency in using Axcelerate student management system**
*Strong understanding of Training Packages and compliance requirements
**Demonstrated skills in team coordination and course management within an RTO or higher education environment**
*Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
**Familiarity with student databases and document management systems**
*Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite
**Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities**
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
**Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally**
