**About the Role**

We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join the team

Reporting to the Buying Manager, this role provides the used-car sales department with a supply of marketable used cars and assists the Procurement Manager in maximising sales opportunities through effective valuing and buying trade stock.

Further to the above the duties and responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Valuing vehicles offered for trade in
- Arranging direct purchase of stock to meet the trading needs of the used car sales centres
- Ensure online valuation leads are actioned
- Support retail sites by achieving monthly vehicle acquisition targets
- Ensure suitable stock mix is available
- Maintain strong relationships with the team
- Provide supporting documentation for all deals within approved timeframes

**About you**:

- Mechanical skills/experience is advantageous
- Ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Valid drivers licence
- Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships
- Automotive experience
