YOUR ROLETheSAP Fioneer Banking Functional Consultant will play a leading role in the SAP functional team within the Banking Business Unit.
Many of our customers are installing or upgrading to the latest version of our software platform.
There is a large demand for people who can help us work with our clients in converting their software to the latest version of the platform and at the same time identify and realise value adding business opportunities together with our clients.You will be responsible for both sales and delivery of SAP Fioneer banking related projects.
This includes sales and pre-sales activities of opportunity identification, pre-sales presentation and proposal writing and submission.
You will be responsible for the quality of client interaction including thought leadership and guidance on industry best practice, while also playing a key role in the delivery and implementation of the required functional solution.
You will follow project standards within established timeframes and at defined quality levels, and ensure projects are completed according to schedule and client specifications.
This position is client-facing and requires travel to the client site as the project warrants.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLESYour deliverables as aSAP Fioneer Banking Functional Consultantwill include, but are not limited to, the following:Providing SAP Fioneer Banking functional expertise to internal and external stakeholdersParticipate in the development and implementation of the SAP Fioneer team strategyWork with clients and our team on upgrading and converting our software platforms to the latest release of our software (TRBK on S/4 Hana)Training and mentorship of junior resourcesMaintain, enhance, and broaden knowledge and skills of SAP Fioneer Banking applications, industry best practices and developmentsInteract with clients to provide them insights and possibilities to help shape and craft their transformation journeys, with specific focus on the SAP Fioneer functional capabilitiesInteract with clients, consultatively, to determine project requirements and needs analysisPresent the Banking capabilities and specific solution required to the client, with specific focus on the functional capabilities of the SAP Fioneer Banking softwareAssist in the preparation of proposals for clients in accordance with pre-defined standards and proceduresEstablish and/or assist client with controls based on client's business practices and processes; recommend best practices; review setup with clients and gain client acceptanceUse subject matter knowledge to advise the client on the most suitable options, including when to make use of standard capabilities or when customisation is requiredAssess and report risks during project and participate in the development and implementation of mitigation plansCommunicate project scope, status, and risks to all stakeholdersRecord accurate and timely accounting of time spent on project related activitiesFollow established project, departmental, company procedures and quality standardsFollow established project management standardsProvide activities related to the management of assigned implementation projects to bring the project to a timely close and transition the client appropriatelyComplete post-implementation tasks in a timely mannerUpdate internal documentation as applicableBachelor or master's degree in IT, computer science, technology, engineering or related fieldMinimum of 5+ years of experience in the banking domain, including specific experience in the SAP Fioneer Banking software suiteProven industry relevant track record of in-depth knowledge of SAP Fioneer functional capabilities, implementations, associated standards, practices and regulationsClient facing service experience required.
