Responsibility for a range of Finance matters in Australia. Includes close liaison with the Finance Manager in Australia and the ANZ/APAC Finance team.

**The business**

A global specialty credit lines insurer. They are one of the top 5 insurers in the credit insurance market. They have underwriting operations in the APAC region, Europe, the UK & US.

**The role requirements**
- Responsible for financial technical accounting as well as Premiums and claims, ad hoc finance tasks
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of internal technical reports such as monthly written and paid premium bordereau
- Responsible for credit control and leveraging on assistance from outsourced teams where appropriate.
- Responsible for premiums collections by handling queries, monitor and expedite collection of brokers' outstanding balances, and preparation of credit control reports giving updates on collections for management review
- Responsible for preparation of stamp duty report and applicable taxes
- Manage internal and external audits for company
- Build a strong working relationship and strong working processes to ensure smooth communication between the Australia, APAC offices

**The qualities required**
- Knowledge or experience in various Direct and Facultative Insurance classes of business would be advantageous
- Knowledge in credit insurance business and operations would be advantageous
- Numerically confident
- Computer literate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
