We are the high end bridal store offering stunning, high-quality wedding dresses and formal gowns at affordable prices. We pride ourselves on offering superior service to our brides-to-be. **We are looking for a dressmaker who can do bridal alterations, and machinist work with our friendly team in Wetherill Park.**

**Applications must have the following skills**
- **Min 2 years of Sewing experience in the Bridal Industry**

**Full-time & Part-time positions are available.**

Our bridal dresses are both custom-made and made to size. It will be your job to machine the alterations for each dress, between each bride's fitting.

**Please note** - this position also requires you to work directly with the bride on occasion. You will be responsible for doing fittings, noting the changes requested and altering the dress.
- **A passion to work** for high end, best quality, Australian design dresses, and a desire to be part of a passionate team
- **Machining experience**, experience with bridal dresses, silks and embellishments is a plus
- Good communication skills **(You must speak English fluently)**:

- An incredible work ethic
- A positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail, and exceptional organization and time management skills
- Fast at work and reliable in caring for small details
- Sewing, dressmaking, machining, or alterations experience
- Confidence in using industrial sewing machines and equipment

**MAJOR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Machining alterations including
- Finishing hems to length including baby-locking, double rolled hems, adding lace trim and horsehair braid
- Taking inside seams
- Taking in bodices
- Working with fabrics like silk duping, silk crepe, silk chiffon, and luxurious laces and embellishments

**OCCASIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Machining samples
- Machining brides dresses
- Hand finishing dresses once machining work is complete
- Quality checks each time the alteration is finalised.
