Now hiring a Production Manager | This luxury fashion brand is on a fast growth trajectory both locally and internationally. This role is a great opportunity for someone to lead the offshore production of this business in collaboration with the senior leadership team based out of their Alexandria head office.
Working closely in communication with Design, Planners and suppliers. This role is critical to creating quality garments and a seamless process for a team to work together to achieve a high level of efficiency and contribution to the success of the business.
- Responsible for on-time deliveries from suppliers of all garments at the highest quality standards from SMS design handover to Ex-factory shipment.
- Manage timeline and accessories for all offshore manufacturers
- Measure and control fit of garment approvals [salesman, pre-production and shipment samples]
- Manage and organise garment fit sessions. Translate technical fit improvements and alterations to suppliers
- Maintain Critical Path Design to Production Handover
- Conduct regular meetings with Design, Planners and dispatch to discuss progress/issues
- Developing and evolving company standards of production processes and team management
- New development factory allocation review with design for each seasonal collection ensuring capable and high-quality execution from start to finish.
- Present to Team weekly on production updates and delivery schedule.
- Responsible for fabrications, printing, dye, wash and garment construction management and approvals.
- Working closely with offshore suppliers in China, India.
We are seeking an experienced senior-level Production Manager within an existing fashion brand.
- Exceptional Organisational, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced levels of Excel and Adobe Illustrator
- Prior experience working in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team and Design Team to ensure the final product is as intended.
- Work with Head design to ensure costings align with design elements and changes.
- Strong experience negotiating pricing with Factories.
- Developed leadership experience
