Are you passionate about agriculture and looking for an exciting role in a thriving family-owned agri-business? McLean Farms, located just 30 minutes southwest of Toowoomba in Pittsworth. We are looking for a dedicated poultry worker to join our team. This role is responsible for effectively and efficiently utilising resources to supply a high-quality point of lay pullet

**About Us**:
McLean Farms is a diversified, family-owned agri-business renowned for our excellence in livestock and food production. Our operations span a wide range of agricultural enterprises, including grain, compost, and feed mill operations. We are committed to fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment that aligns with our values and culture.

**Daily duties include, but not be limited to**:

- Conducting feed, water and light checks, including general maintenance to equipment where necessary.
- Conducting environmental checks to ensure birds are comfortable.
- Conducting inspections on bird welfare.
- Training of chicks in the use of the aviary system.
- General cleaning and servicing of sheds and equipment as required.
- Other duties as required.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Live locally for call out purposes or prepared to relocate to the area would be highly regarded.
- Weekend and call out work will be required.
- Willingness to strictly adhere to the required animal welfare guidelines and regulations.
- Previous experience in the poultry industry is not essential, but would be highly regarded.
- Current valid drivers' licence.
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to carry out a range of different tasks.

You must not have any birds, pigs or poultry at home, and you must not regularly come into contact with birds, pigs or poultry in order to work at McLean Farms.
