The Y WA is a not-for-profit community based organisation, operating across Western Australia. We deliver, childcare and youth services and education to thousands of Australians every day. The General Manager Children's Services leads the delivery of our Children Services including Early Learning Centres, Outside School Hours Care and Family Day care operations.

The primary outcomes this role will deliver are:

- Lead the implementation of the Y WA's Growth for Impact strategy including the School Readiness Program across our Early Learning Centres
- Develop high performing teams to ensure the achievement of business objectives and an exceptional experience for families and children
- Inspire, lead, and drive transformational change across Children Serivces to position the Y WA for a long-term sustainable future.
- Develop and implement management systems to ensure National Quality Framework standards are met and exceeded to ensure the highest standard of education and care.
- Develop the capability of leaders to ensure delivery of agile, high-quality, client-focused outcomes whilst constantly striving for improvement and sustainability.

**Your Profile**:

- Proven track record in implementing strategic plans and initiatives
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment and a sound understanding of the regulatory environment
- Understanding of safeguarding children and young people
- Ability to provide strong advocacy and stakeholder engagement
- Management of diverse team working across metropolitan and regional areas
- Tertiary qualifications
