**Job Title:** Children's Counsellor
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Children's Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our service, you will provide high-quality counselling services to children aged 0–12.
About the Role:
- Provide trauma-informed counselling to children, young people, and families, including assessment, case planning, and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver early intervention and family support that promotes child development, healthy attachment, protective behaviours, and life skills.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning for clients affected by family and domestic violence and provide outreach services as required.
Requirements:
- A minimum Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, Counselling, Childhood Development, or related field.
- At least 3 years' experience providing child counselling and working with families experiencing complex needs, including family and domestic violence.
- Demonstrated experience in case management, intake, assessment, and referral.
- Current National Police Certificate (within 12 months validity).
- Valid WA Working with Children Card.
- Valid WA Driver's License and access to a reliable car for outreach purposes.
