Senior Business Analyst

We are supporting an automotive client undergoing a significant technology uplift across their operational field services.
As part of this broader transformation program, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Analyst to contribute to the implementation of a new mobile solution for a large, dispersed workforce.
This initiative involves replacing existing systems with updated tools to enhance operational performance, streamline workflows, and improve the end-user experience.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative delivery team, working across solution integration, deployment planning, configuration, and stakeholder engagement to help ensure a smooth transition to the new platform.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with technology, operations, and third-party vendors to understand business objectives and translate them into clear requirements.
Lead and coordinate discovery activities to map current-state and future-state workflows associated with MDT use in the field.
Document and communicate technical and non-technical requirements in ways that are easily consumable across diverse audiences.
Support system testing efforts by aligning requirements to test cases and collaborating with test teams to validate solutions.
Assist in planning and managing the deployment of new MDT hardware and associated applications across operational units.
Facilitate cross-functional workshops to ensure alignment on expectations, risks, and success metrics.
Contribute to change impact assessments and assist with readiness activities for end users.
What You'll Bring
Significant experience in business analysis roles supporting IT-enabled transformation projects, ideally involving both software and hardware delivery.
Strong grasp of systems integration, particularly across mobile applications and infrastructure.
Ability to create business process models, data flow diagrams, and other artefacts to support delivery and decision-making.
Skilled at bridging technical and operational domains, with the confidence to present to both field personnel and senior stakeholders.
Previous experience working in complex environments where operational continuity and workforce usability are high priorities.
Comfortable working with agile and hybrid project delivery models.
Proficient in Confluence, Jira, and modern documentation tools.
Experience supporting mobile technology deployment into vehicle-based workforces (preferred but not essential).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Automotive experience would be ideal.
This role would suit someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who is comfortable working across delivery teams, business units, and external vendors.
You'll be hands-on, solutions-focused, and thrive in environments undergoing technology uplift and operational transformation.
