About the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide specialised care for older persons undergoing cancer treatments. TheOncology Geriatric Assessment CNC role provides direct and indirect care as required and works collaboratively with the Medical Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners, Cancer Nurse Consultants and Allied Health to ensure timely access across the health continuum. This role is designed to bridge the gap between oncology and geriatric care by delivering expert assessments, developing individualised treatment plans, and ensuring comprehensive management of the unique needs of older persons with cancer.
