**Your new company**

You'll be part of a Government organisation located in the growth corridor of the South East Queensland region. You will be engaged at the entity's Wacol location on a 3-month contract (with possibility of extension) as a Roster Officer.

**Your new role**

Duties will include:

- Maintain processes and systems for staff rosters including roster planning, the coverage of shifts, leave and training.
- Maintain accurate recording on registers
- Research, establish and maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of current legislation, awards, certified agreements, employment policies and practices affecting the employment of staff.
- Liaise on a regular basis with managers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that rostering and staff movements are captured and reflected correctly on all systems.
- Investigate enquires relating to human resource and rostering issues ensuring timely and accurate solutions are reached and respond to written and verbal enquires with a pro-active and positive approach.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will have prior experience in rostering and strong administrative skills. You will hold a current Paid Working With Children's Check (Blue Card). You will have proven organisational and time management skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

**What you'll get in return**

You will have the opportunity to work within the public sector and be an engaged member of the community. You will work fulltime hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm and will receive $44.49/hr.
