Gastronomy is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and organised hospitality professional to manage one of our premium corporate client partnerships.
THE PERSON
We are looking for a highly organised hospitality professional with a warm, personable manner who takes pride in giving exceptional customer service.
You will have a high standard of personal presentation, a strong work ethic and a flexible, efficient approach.
You will be proactive, have excellent time management skills, the ability to think on your feet and juggle multiple things at once – always with a smile.
You will have a corporate hospitality background with experience in managing both front of house and kitchen teams.
You are known for leading and inspiring teams that set the highest standards.
Excellent computer skills as well as the ability to coordinate and service room bookings and catering requests is required.
A passion for food is essential; staying ahead of food, style and fashion trends is second nature.
A background in hospitality or other environments where you have learnt to constantly adapt to change and innovation is vital.
You will need excellent computer skills.
THE ROLE
This is a hands on role that involves building client relationships whilst providing exceptional customer service.
This role involves the coordination of the day to day operations of our corporate catering and client services in the boardrooms and kitchen.
You will be responsible for the supervision of casual staff, rostering, training, menu development with the chef, quoting for meetings and events and ensuring a seamless set up and pack down of all in house catering.
You will work closely with our client to learn their corporate culture and tailor the Gastronomy service on site, working together with reception to deliver exceptional service.
We are looking for someone with excellent relationship management skills who communicates with impact and can inspire confidence in our clients.
You will earn the trust of our teams through your hands-on approach and operational knowledge.

MINIMUM CRITERIA TO APPLY :
4+ years management experience working in a 5 star hotel, corporate environment, or premium caterer.
4 + years experiences in banqueting, conferencing or events
Experience working in and leading a kitchen team
Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, suppliers, chefs and wait staff
Exceptional level of attention to detail, organised and administration skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
An energetic, positive personality with a passion for the industry
The ability to make Barista quality coffee
Availability to work 5 weekdays, Monday to Friday
RSA Competency Card
