Job Title: Driller Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct site surveys and utility locates using ground-penetrating radar (GPR) and other locating technologies
- Always ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain and inspect drilling equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Complete relevant paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Proactive and innovative approach to problem solving including resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other site issues that may arise
- Coordinating with Management to efficiently organise resources (plant, material & equipment) to ensure preparation, site set-up, maintenance and construction activities meet program schedules

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience with leading a team desirable
- Proficiency in operating drilling equipment and locating technology
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and traveling, including working in rural/remote areas

Qualifications:

- Valid MR license
- Construction Induction Card
- Control traffic with stop - slow bat (RIIWHS205E) Preferred
- Implement traffic management plan (RIIWHS302E) Preferred
- Fire training (CPPFES2005) Preferred
- Provide first aid (HLTAID011) Preferred
- Provide CPR (HLTAID009) Preferred
- Conduct manual tasks safely (HLTWHS005) Preferred
- Prepare to work in the gas industry (UEGNSG005) Preferred
- Energy Safe Victoria NO GO Zone Spotter ticket Preferred
- Identify, locate & protect underground services (RIICCM202E) Preferred
- Conduct horizontal directional drilling (RIINHB323D)
- Conduct civil construction excavator operations (RIIMPO320E)

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
