**The Company**

A dynamic group, our client is a leading manufacturer of a range of premium food products sold through several sales channels. Undergoing an exciting time of transformation and focused on achieving a best-practice planning function, they now seek a skilled Master Production Scheduler to plan the production of a wide range of short shelf life food products.

**The Role**

**Reporting into the National Planning Manager your responsibilities will include;**
- You will be responsible for the leading and executing all production planning responsibilities across a large manufacturing site
- Ensure the consistent supply of raw product into production and investigate any supply shortages
- Continuously review production requirements and schedule production to ensure customer service levels are met
- Work cross-functionally to ensure a detailed production plan is achieved and actively review production schedules for individual SKU's
- Control all short term planning activities and investigate issues with other departments to promote continuous improvement across the planning process
- Ensure optimal inventory levels at all times with zero stock outs or stock loss
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, effectively developed engagement and introduce an improved planning process

**In order to be successful in this role you will have;**
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence cross functional teams and develop strong processes
- At least 5 years experience as a Master Scheduler or Production Planner in a food manufacturing facility is non-negotiable
- A thorough understanding of best practice planning techniques and the drive to continuously improve process
- A high level of thoroughness and attention to detail with an analytical approach
- A commercial focus and strong communication skills will ensure you are a stand-out applicant and will assist in fostering solid outcomes
- A genuine change agent with exceptional leadership capability will relish the opportunity to have a strong and lasting impact in this dynamic organisation
- You will still demonstrate a strong understanding of forecasting and stock replenishment, utilising this expertise to further develop your team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse set of key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner are an imperative for your success in this diverse and interesting role
