Role
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Science Teacher with expertise in Biology and/or Chemistry to deliver engaging, effective, and innovative Science instruction to secondary students. The successful candidate will be committed to student wellbeing, pastoral care, and the Christian ethos of the School.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons aligned with NESA curriculum standards for Years 7 - 12.
Design learning experiences that support a diverse range of student needs through differentiated instruction.
Integrate digital tools into classroom practice to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
Use student learning data to inform planning, assessment, and instruction.
Contribute to the school's Deep Learning and Professional Learning Team (PLT) programs.
Participate in co-curricular and pastoral care programs as part of whole-school community engagement.
NESA teacher accreditation.
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and academically rigorous classroom environment.
Understanding of, or willingness to adopt, Deep Learning pedagogies and evidence-based best practice.
Commitment to the values and Christian ethos of the Anglican Diocese of Grafton.
Qualifications
NESA teacher accreditation.
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
