About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging, effective, and innovative Mathematics instruction to secondary students. The successful candidate will be committed to student wellbeing, pastoral care, and the Christian ethos of the School.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons aligned with NESA curriculum standards for Years 7–12.
- Design learning experiences that support a diverse range of student needs through differentiated instruction.
- Integrate digital tools into classroom practice to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Use student learning data to inform planning, assessment, and instruction.
- Contribute to the school's Deep Learning and Professional Learning Team (PLT) programs.
- Participate in co-curricular and pastoral care programs as part of whole-school community engagement.
- Maintain NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) teacher accreditation.
- Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Demonstrate the ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and academically rigorous classroom environment.
- Show understanding of, or willingness to adopt, Deep Learning pedagogies and evidence-based best practice.
- Commitment to the values and Christian ethos of the Anglican Diocese of Grafton.
