About the role Merri-bek City Council is seeking a dedicated Irrigation Maintenance Technician to join our Water Management Team within Open Space Management Maintenance.
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, auditing and repair of irrigation and stormwater harvesting systems.
Your expertise will ensure our irrigation and stormwater assets, including pumps, UV Systems and filters operate at optimal levels.
Skills and experience required to perform the role Qualification in Irrigation or substantial experience within the industryA willingness to obtain a trade certified position in IrrigationPerform routine maintenance, repairs and testing of irrigation and stormwater systems, controllers, pumps, UV systems and filtration assets within Open Space Maintenance.Operate light and heavy machinery adhering to councils' safety practices What the role can offer Fortnightly RDOExtensive opportunities for training & career developmentSalary sacrifice optionsA real sense of work-life balance & flexible work optionsEmployer-supported study assistance schemesWellness programs Further information Applications close: 11:30pm, Wednesday, 10 September 2025.
