Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated person looking for an opportunity to work as a Disability Support Worker?
As a Disability Support Worker, you will work as part of a team providing safe and effective care tailored to the needs of your client. To get started in this sector will assist you by enrolling you in Certificate IV Disability with our award-winning education partner.
Duties include assisting and promoting independence with any of the following as required:
- Assist with implementation of clients' NDIS Plans
- In-home support with promoting and maintaining health and wellness
- Promote independence with domestic activities such as meal assistance, showering, dressing, transport and budgeting
- Provide companionship and support while facilitating daily activities with meaning and purpose
- Cook and serve meals, clean premises, wash, iron and perform other household tasks
- Assist clients with self-administration of medication
- Maintain relevant documentation and regulatory compliance
There is an opportunity for Full-Time, Part-Time or Casual roles. Casual roles go up to $30 p/h + for students studying towards their Cert4 and increase the moment you graduate. There are government incentives for Full-Time and Part-Time traineeship roles. Essential attributes for this role are:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Be willing to commit to a 9-month education program - Cert IV Disability (blended: 1 per month classroom, 3 days per month virtual) or workplace-based including traineeship.
- Must have current or willing to undergo NDIS Worker's Screening Check
- Victorian Working with Children Check (WWC)
- COVID 19/flu Vaccinated
- Ideally you have a car with current registration
