**Commissioning Manager**

**About the role**

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Developing & maintaining a Commissioning Framework, including pre-commissioning & commissioning procedures/templates & defining roles & responsibilities.
- Maintain & share a commercial view on operational deliverables.
- Supporting the Major Projects Teams to plan & deliver all commissioning activities in compliance with the project scope, technical specifications & Operational procedures.
- Support Commissioning works with technical assistance and ensure company compliance.
- Audit of contractor's deliverables to ensure contractor compliance with HP standards & rules. Visit the regions to conduct onsite audits when required.
- Ensure continuity between engineering expectations & the commissioning deliverables to ensure seamless transitions to the operations and maintenance phases.
- Work successfully with other divisions within the business & ensure communication between these divisions is continuous to help achieve Horizon Powers goals.
- Conduct incident investigation when required.

**About you**
In addition to sharing our passion, to be successful in this role you will have:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or suitable trade qualified.
- Eligible for registration with the Institution of Engineers Australia (desirable) or Western Australian Electrical License A grade.
- Significant knowledge of energy systems (generation, transmission & distribution), including renewables.
- Sound knowledge of energy systems planning principles & financial analysis evaluation principles.
- Experience in the development of complex commissioning requirements, both commissioning frameworks & for specific projects.
- Good communication skills & ability to network with all parts of the business & external parties. Demonstrate visible safety leadership as it applies to delivery of projects & operational deliverables.
