Due to growth and on-going delivery success, Turner & Townsend are seeking a **Occupational Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (OHSEQ) Specialist** to join the Natural Resources team in Perth to work across our major projects.
**Job Description**:
Primary purpose of this role is to support the OHSEQ Advisory function for Natural Resources across our Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) by:
- Assist in the development, implementation and review of a practical client centric OHSEQ project strategy utilising a consultative and collaborative model
- Assists with specialised OHSEQ Management System development including standards, policies and procedures and supporting systems, ensuring that all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and standards are met
- Assist with the implementation and support, and OHSEQ project delivery
- Provide expert advice to clientele, internal and external stakeholders with respect to the policies, management guidelines and procedures as applicable to OHSEQ
- Support the development of OHSEQ metrics for the new system and for project reporting
- Evaluate contractor OHSEQ documentation to ensure compliance to clients and regulatory requirements
- Provide strategic and technical advice on all matters related to OHSEQ to client and the business
- Establishment and maintenance of strong relationships with clientele managers, supervisors and employees, ensuring that all parties have a clear agreement and understanding of the project requirements and their respective roles and accountabilities
- Analyse OHSEQ related information and prepare regular reports for the Manager and Executive Management Team
**Qualifications**:
- Must be in Western Australia with full working rights.
- Must have 8+ years of experience in OHSEQ or Project Management
- A recognised Degree Qualification in a relevant field.
- Relevant industry experience ideally in a consultancy environment.
- Familiarity with reporting and planning software such as Power BI and MS Project
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills.
- Collaborative and ability to work as part of a national team.
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking and resilience to deal with a fast paced environment.
