We have an exciting opportunity for an Own Brand Designer to join our team based in Scoresby, helping design and develop our Workwear range.

**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with the experience and aspirations to work in an industry-leading and dynamic environment.

As the **Own Brand Workwear Designer** based in our Scoresby office, you will be reporting directly to the Own Brand Product and Development Manager and be responsible for designing and developing commercially viable ranges of industrial workwear which satisfy our customers' requirements and meet our business expectations. Scope includes the Workhorse Workwear range in Australia and the Workhorse and Tornado Workwear ranges in New Zealand.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Industry specific market analysis across the Australian and New Zealand industrial sectors
- Interpreting the design brief from the Product Manager making sure the product meets consumer needs and is compliant with AU/NZS Standards
- Completing Tech Packs for off-shore manufacturing - includes CAD drawings, garment construction information, packaging, measurements, and grading.
- Manage all branding development of labels, tickets, prints and packaging from R&D to production.
- Manage product development process from initial idea, through sampling and into bulk production.
- Build close relationships with suppliers and our offshore sourcing and quality team to ensure the development process runs smoothly

To be successful, you will have:

- You will be self-driven and work well either alone or in a collaborative team environment
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement experience (interstate and overseas colleagues, suppliers, and customers)
- Build strong relationships across multiple areas of our business
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative suite including Illustrator and InDesign
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Strong communicator and influencer with people at all levels
- Organisation, prioritisation, strong project management and ability to meet deadlines
- Local and international exposure is desired but not essential
- 5+ years' experience in design or product development roles
- Tertiary qualifications in Fashion and or Graphic Design
