Finance Controller
to play a crucial role in our Financial Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to strategic decision-making and financial oversight within an innovative global company. In this role, you will be a key player in supporting the financial health of euroAtlantic Airways, ensuring accuracy in reporting, forecasting, and analysis to drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support:
Assist in preparing and monitoring the annual budget and future projections, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
Management:
Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly financial management reports for the company and its subsidiaries, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
Analyse and manage income and costs across business units to drive efficiency and profitability.
Leverage the Power BI Tool to generate performance reports across all departments.
Planning:
Critically evaluate key management indicators, propose strategies for optimization, and contribute to plans that enhance financial performance.
Analyse deviations from the annual budget, offering insights and corrective actions to realign with targets.
Preparation:
Conduct detailed financial and economic analyses for new projects, providing well-supported recommendations to the management team.
Proposals:
Analyse and control investments and major maintenance events to ensure financial viability and sustainable growth.
What We're Looking For
:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's or master's degree in management, economics, or finance.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in auditing, consultancy, management control, or similar financial functions.
Language Skills:
Fluency in English (speaking, writing, and listening) is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial management software and data analysis tools such as Power BI is highly desirable.
Financial Acumen:
Strong understanding of financial processes, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to deliver accurate financial analyses and reports under tight deadlines.
Analytical Thinking:
Capacity to critically evaluate financial and operational data to propose actionable strategies.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions proactively.
