We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Support Workers to provide essential assistance to clients living in SIL houses. As a Support Worker, you will help clients with day-to-day tasks, foster independence, and encourage participation in meaningful activities. You will work closely with clients to support their individual goals while ensuring their safety and well-being in a supportive and nurturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide hands-on support to clients with daily living tasks such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, and housekeeping.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation, including support with community engagement and social activities.
- Develop positive, trusting relationships with clients, empowering them to make choices and decisions about their lives.
- Support clients with personal goals, whether related to health, education, employment, or community involvement.
- Assist with medication administration and monitoring, as required.
- Work closely with the support team and other professionals to implement individualized care plans and ensure the highest quality of care.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients, including assisting with behavioral support strategies if needed.
- Provide emotional and social support, encouraging independence and self-confidence.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress, incidents, and service delivery.
- Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

**Key Requirements**:

- Passion for working with individuals with disabilities and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life.
- Previous experience in disability support or a similar role (preferred, but not essential).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to client care.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing situations.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid driver's license.
- Availability to work a range of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: $24.00 - $48.32 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
