We're hiring an Analytics Modernisation Lead who wants to be part of a mission to enhance solutions for Youi by uncovering untapped opportunities. Your role centres on spearheading innovation processes, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and exceptional experiences for internal and external customers.

You'll fuel an innovation culture centred on experimentation, learning, and adopting cutting-edge technologies. With a data centric approach, you'll implement Cloud technologies, empowering teams to construct, deploy, and operate machine learning models. Your top mission is embracing diverse innovation methods - from incremental to disruptive. You'll tailor your approach to match business goals, proving the worth of AI-powered solutions. But that's not all You'll also drive industrialisation of emerging technologies alongside our platform and engineering teams. Stay ahead by promoting the latest technologies and best practices, riding the wave of tech trends.

Key priorities will include:

- Oversee the innovation lifecycle: from exploration and hypothesis building to experimentation and showcasing, all aligned with organisational priorities.
- Establish innovation management guidelines, controls, and checkpoints encompassing tools and methodologies.
- Lead prototype development and orchestrate proof of concepts for insights validation.
- Formulate architectural patterns derived from the innovation process.
- Leverage Cloud platforms for seamless innovation facilitation.
- Conduct workshops to gather insights for innovation from stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends for spotting innovation opportunities.
- Collaborate with platform teams to industrialise architecture patterns and emerging technologies.
- Work cross-functionally with diverse business stakeholders.
- Manage the enhancement and industrialisation of advanced analytics infrastructure.
- Facilitate the evolution of cloud-based analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify segments of the analytics workflow for modernisation.
- Streamline machine learning model deployment with platforms.
- Integrate complex machine learning models into pertinent production systems.
- Propose and validate AI-supported real-world business solutions through hypothesis and experimentation.

**About you**

You will:

- Have a formal qualification(s) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Satisfy ASIC's definition of "Fit and Proper Person" compliance obligations.
- Have proven experience in data analytics or a data science leadership role (10+ years' is a general indicator).
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.
- Have proven experience in coding in python and experience with PySpark.
- Have proven experience building data pipelines across hybrid networks.
- Have proven experience working with data science Cloud environments.
- Have proven experience leading an innovation capability or innovation team that focused on brining emerging technologies into an organisation.
- Have in-depth knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
- Have experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams and providing technical leadership.
