Due to ongoing growth, we have a vacancy for a Machine Operator to join our Elastomer Team in Artarmon 2064 NSW

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

- The safe operation and maintenance of production equipment
- Adherence to Weir Minerals OHS&E Policies and participate in all safety exercises and training.
- Safe and effective operation of Elastomer Pressing equipment and machinery.
- Manufacturing, trimming and cleaning of all manufactured elastomer products.
- Assisting in other adhoc duties such as preparation of moulds, painting and trimming elastomer products.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A strong commitment towards workplace safety.
- At least 12 months experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable, but not essential.
- Comfortable with working within a Heavy Engineering Environment
- Excellent teamworking abilities
- A Trade Certificate is desirable, but not essential
- Good values on people and working in a hazardous environment.
