NEC is looking for a Team Lead - Data Protection to join the team in Canberra.

Assisting the Tower Lead through the provision of professional support and leadership for the Data Protection Team. You will provide high level technical guidance to operational team leaders for problems, critical environmental issues and service improvement activities. You will perform ITSM co-ordination and all Data Protection Team reporting duties and continual service Improvement tasks.

**Your responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Management of major incidents and escalation to the Team Lead - Data Protection and/or Major Incident Management Team (SRMs)
- Develops respective Business Unit's strategy and translates into day-to-day activities and behaviours of team members
- Creates value by introducing new ideas, thinks beyond boundaries and identifies opportunities that enable breakthrough in business and process
- Inspires teams through own actions and behaviours

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- 3 years relevant experience working in a Storage or Data Protection leadership role
- 2 years relevant experience in Storage and Data Protection hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment
- Proven knowledge of Storage and Data Protection Vendor Offerings

Relevant Tertiary Qualification (or equivalent 5 years' plus management or on the job experience)
- Communicates with impact, engaging the audience, and adapting the style and content depending on the recipient
- Sets challenging goals & priorities, and accepts accountability for team performance
- Takes personal accountability for sustained business success and team development
- Builds genuine win-win relationships across the business through effective interaction and collaboration with key stakeholders, sponsors and colleagues
- Displays resourcefulness adaptability and resilience
- Storage Certification
- Data Protection Certification/ ITIL
