Join our multidisciplinary team of passionate clinicians providing maternity care to women in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
**THE ROLE**:
Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital within the Maternity Service
Full time Monday-Friday 0800-1630
Manage our 9 bed Birthing Suite, 24 hour Maternity Assessment Unit and 6 bed Pregnancy Day Stay
Role modelling and providing effective midwifery leadership and strategic direction, in partnership with the MUM of Postnatal Unit, Midwifery in the Home and Lactation Services
You will be well supported by the Deputy Director of Women's & Children's Services and the Divisional Director, Perioperative and Specialist Services and Women's & Children's Services

**ABOUT YOU**:
**Seeking**:
Current midwifery registration with AHPRA
A midwifery leader who has extensive experience in a Midwifery Unit Manager role.
Demonstrates positive collaborative skills in an established multidisciplinary team.
Sound knowledge of management processes including HR, clinical risk and effective financial management
Recent experience leading birthing services essential
Level 3 FSEP and proficient in performing Third Trimester Ultrasound
Masters qualification in Midwifery Leadership or Health Services Leadership (or working towards)
